his week, totally steller week. I've only been here
for two weeks, but due to soo much learning, changing, feeling, and doing it
feels like at least a month.
Elder Derr got sick, Me.. being me.. was pretty
doubtful, and had the suck it up attitude. When he insisted we miss class to go
home and rest I was pretty mad. Then as he was sleeping, and I was studying, I
noticed a talk I've heard of on his desk. It was about submitting your will and
heart to the work. Lonnng talk short it hit me. I was being a bad missionary. I
knelled down and prayed. Then later me, and everyone else in my district gave
him a blessing. It was a game changer day.
Everyone told me I'd gain 10lbs here due to stress
and what not. I haven't! I'm still the same. So Ha! It's a constant goal..
Sorry I didn't upload any pictures last week, I
didn't have my head in the game. Obviously. But don't worry! I'm prepared this
time :)
Other than that, same old same old in the CCM. My
Spanish is about the equivalent to a 3 year olds... I have to practice my vowel
sounds.. :( It's rough, but I'm getting there! Love you all.

Oh!. Wait wait wait! So last week, When I was
typing my Katy Perry quote I realized I was being a hypocrite. I can't accept
my now new zone leader, Clawson, but I'm preachin acceptance?! Nah! So I prayed
about it. I accepted who he is, and I apologized to him. Since then it's been a
lot better. However, it was just in time for another Elder in my district to
start runnin his mouth! Haha it's like a never ending thing. But we'll get
there!
P.S. Elder Derr and I are the distric leaders now.
He is letting power get to him, and me...well... I'm just Daniel! I feel like
the higher to position, higher the humility. take yourself down, in order to
lift others up. It's a good life :)
